Documents Required for Waste Management
The main documents required to obtain an EPR Authorisation for e-waste management are as follows : –
- Consent to establish granted by the concerned State Pollution Control Board the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (21 of 1981) and under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974;
- Consent to operate was granted by the concerned State Pollution Control Board under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (21 of 1981) and under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974
- Certificate of incorporation (CIN) in case of company/LLP
- Memorandum Of Association
- Article of Association
- Board resolution for appointing an authorised person

Registration Process for Waste Management
Application Submission
Healthcare establishments must submit an application for authorization to the State Pollution Control Board or the relevant regulatory authority.
Document Review

Inspection
An inspection of the healthcare facility is conducted to ensure the proper infrastructure, equipment, and waste segregation practices are in place.
Authorization Issuance
If the facility complies with all regulations, the biomedical waste management authorization is granted, allowing the facility to legally manage and dispose of biomedical waste.
Renewal and Compliance
